Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain Veneers
The term veneer means a thin covering over another surface. In dentistry we can cover a tooth with a thin layer of porcelain (or similar material) to enhance function and appearance. Veneers can be directly placed on teeth without modification (tooth reduction) but are more traditionally placed after some amount of modification.

“Lumineers” are a brand of veneers placed without tooth modification requiring anesthetic, often termed “No Prep Veneers” or “No Shot Veneers.” Dental veneers offer a Dentist one of the most extraordinary tools in creating new, beautiful, harmonious, straight smiles. Our Doctors have been placing veneers since 1986 and have been “Lumineer” Certified since 2006, shortly after “Lumineers” were reintroduced.

If you have perfect teeth that are just not straight, we suggest Invisalign™ to straighten them. If, however, your teeth are not only crooked but also unattractive due to color, old crowns or fillings, then we suggest Porcelain Veneers. In most cases, porcelain veneers can give you a beautiful, straight smile in just two visits.
